Unleashing Inner Superheroes– Carolina’s Mission to Empower Children Globally
Carolina’s journey, shaped by adversity and her mother’s strength, fuels her mission to empower children. Through her Superhero Programs, she teaches resilience, self-belief, and emotional intelligence. Her work inspires kids to see challenges as opportunities to grow. Carolina envisions a future where every child thrives with confidence and courage.
Carolina, can you tell us a little about your background and how your childhood experiences shaped your journey today?
I was born and raised in Argentina during a time of political upheaval, where my family experienced significant adversity. My father, a doctor dedicated to serving underserved communities, was imprisoned and tortured for his humanitarian efforts under the military dictatorship.
My mother became the anchor of our family during those turbulent times. Watching her navigate impossible circumstances with resilience left a lasting impression on me.
Those early experiences instilled in me a deep understanding of strength, perseverance, and the importance of finding purpose amidst adversity.
These values have become the foundation of my work today, particularly in empowering children to develop the mindset tools they need to thrive.

Growing up in a politically turbulent environment, what key lessons about resilience did you learn from your family, particularly from your Mother?
My mother was my first role model of resilience. Despite the chaos around us, she worked tirelessly to keep us safe and educated. She taught me that resilience isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about facing them head-on with courage, resourcefulness, and an unwavering belief in the possibility of a better future.
One of her most powerful lessons was the importance of maintaining hope and finding strength within, even when external circumstances seem insurmountable. That lesson became a cornerstone of my work with children, helping them build inner resilience to navigate life’s challenges.
Your Superhero Programs have reached schools globally. What motivated you to create these programs, and how have they impacted children?
The Superhero Programs were born out of a desire to fill the gaps I saw in traditional education. While schools teach important academic subjects, many students graduate without learning how to manage their emotions, build confidence, or persevere through setbacks.
As a mother, I wanted to equip my daughters with these tools, and as I saw the transformative impact they had on them, I realized other children could benefit too. These programs have helped children in countries like the U.S., Colombia, Guatemala, and Mexico develop self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and the belief that they have the power to shape their futures.
It’s incredibly rewarding to see kids begin to view themselves as capable and unstoppable. My experiences planted the seeds for my passion: helping others, particularly children, discover the strength within themselves to overcome life’s challenges.
Just as superheroes face obstacles to unlock their true powers, I believe every child has unique abilities waiting to be uncovered. That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to creating tools, stories, and programs that empower kids to see their challenges not as limits, but as opportunities to grow.
Your new book, How I Became a Superhero, is already creating excitement among parents and educators. What inspired you to write it, and what makes it a powerful tool for empowering children?
The inspiration for How I Became a Superhero came from two places close to my heart: my daughters and my own experiences growing up. I wanted to create a story that showed kids how to confront real-life challenges, like peer pressure or body image, with confidence and courage—something I would have loved to know how to do at their age.
The story unfolds in a normal school with everyday situations where kids need essential skills to overcome obstacles. But it’s also packed with fun, adventure, and real superheroes with powers, making it incredibly engaging for kids up to middle school.
The combination of relatable challenges and thrilling superhero elements keeps kids excited to turn the pages while learning important life lessons.
Now that the book is out, I’m thrilled to see how children are connecting with the characters and finding their own inner superheroes. My hope is that this book empowers children to embrace their unique abilities, see themselves as heroes, and face challenges with resilience and self-belief. Because when kids feel empowered, they can truly thrive.

Mindset is at the core of your approach. Can you share how self-affirmation and visualization techniques help children build confidence and resilience?
Self-affirmation helps children develop a positive internal dialogue, replacing self-doubt with empowering beliefs. Visualization, on the other hand, allows kids to imagine themselves where they want to be and achieving their goals.
Together, these techniques reinforce a belief in their abilities and potential. When children practice these tools regularly, they build a mental blueprint for success, which strengthens their confidence and resilience. It’s incredibly powerful to see a child shift from “I can’t” to “I can, and I will.”
Resilience is a major theme in your work. How do you help children understand that setbacks are part of the growth process?
I use stories and examples that children can relate to, showing them that even superheroes face challenges. What makes them heroes is their ability to keep going. I emphasize that mistakes and setbacks are not failures—they’re opportunities to learn and grow.
Through my programs, children practice reframing challenges, focusing on what they’ve gained from the experience rather than what went wrong. This perspective helps them approach obstacles with courage and curiosity instead of fear.
As a mother, what did you hope to instill in your daughters through your work and teachings?
More than anything, I wanted to instill in my daughters a sense of self-belief, resilience and kindness. I wanted them to know that their value doesn’t come from external achievements but from who they are and how they navigate the world. By teaching them tools for mindset, I hoped to give them the foundation to pursue their dreams, overcome adversity, and approach life with kindness, courage, and confidence.
Your work has led you to create the Coach to the Kids Certification Program. How does this program train educators to foster a positive mindset in children?
The Coach to the Kids Certification Program equips educators with the tools to teach mindset principles in the classroom while also applying these techniques in their own lives.
Educators learn how to guide children through exercises like visualization, positive affirmations, and mindfulness, creating a supportive environment that fosters self-esteem and emotional intelligence.
The program amplifies the reach of mindset education, ensuring that children everywhere have access to these transformative tools. I´d love that a whole new generation grew up empowered, and with their kindness shining bright. The world could evolve with less suffering or violence.
Could you share with us how the Superhero Programs have made an impact on children’s self-esteem and emotional intelligence across different countries?
The Superhero Programs have had profound effects on children globally. Teachers have reported marked improvements in students’ confidence, emotional regulation, and empathy. Schools implementing the program have also noticed children becoming better at resolving conflicts and building positive relationships.
Across the board, the feedback highlights that these programs help children feel seen, valued, and capable. Witnessing kids transform through these tools is a powerful reminder of the incredible potential every child holds.
You’re one of the authors of Women Gone Wild: The Leadership Edition. Can you share what inspired you to contribute to this book, and how do you see the themes of female empowerment and leadership playing a role in shaping the future of entrepreneurship?
I was inspired to contribute to Women Gone Wild because its themes align so closely with my mission. Female empowerment and leadership are essential for creating a more equitable and innovative world.
When women embrace their power and lead authentically, they not only transform their own lives but also inspire others to do the same. I believe that empowered women are catalysts for change, and I’m proud to be part of a movement that uplifts and celebrates female leaders.
What is your vision for the future, and how do you hope your work will continue to inspire and empower the next generation?
My vision is to reach as many children as possible, equipping them with the tools to lead lives of purpose and resilience. I hope that through my books, programs, and collaborations, we can create a world where every child feels empowered to dream big and make a meaningful impact.
