A born creator, visionary leader, and fearless entrepreneur, she began her journey with bold ambition. At just 10, she launched a sustainable fashion brand that grew into a six-figure success by 13. Her path redefines leadership—not by titles, but through authenticity, purpose, and unwavering action.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your journey as an artist, speaker, and entrepreneur?
I’ve been immersed in creativity and entrepreneurship for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents didn’t ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up—they asked, “What do you want to be now?” That mindset shaped everything I do.
At ten years old, I launched my first company, creating sustainable fashion. By the time I was 13 years old, I had grown it into a six-figure brand.” Today, I use my voice and creativity to inspire others to embrace their potential and take bold action, and see creativity as a tool for transformation.

You’ve traveled extensively since a young age—how do these experiences influence your art and work today?
Travel has been one of my greatest teachers. Growing up around so many cultures gave me a deep appreciation for diversity, storytelling, and the beauty of the human experience.
I channel my experiences into my art, drawing from the people I’ve met and the ways travel has shaped my perspective. Each piece becomes a reflection of my personal journey, transforming memories and emotions into a visual narrative of self-discovery. Travel also taught me to embrace change, which fuels my creativity and adaptability in everything I do.
Your upcoming book, Women Gone Wild: The Leadership Edition focuses on leadership. What inspired this particular focus?
Leadership has always been a part of my story, even when I didn’t realize it. Starting a business as a kid and building a global movement like #wearslow taught me that true leadership is about authenticity and action.
My goal with this book is to show that leadership doesn’t come from titles or age—it comes from being willing to take the first step, inspire others, and make a difference, no matter where you are in life.
You started designing at the age of 7. What motivated you to pursue fashion so young?
I’ve always been drawn to creative expression, but I never imagined it could evolve into something so impactful. From a young age, I found joy in sketching everything that inspired me.
From a very early age, I was always drawn to creating and drawing. But it wasn’t until I met a designer who believed in me and recognized my potential that I realized my passions could be more than just a hobby. With their mentorship, I developed the confidence to turn my ideas into reality.
Learning at such a young age gave me the foundation to pursue my dreams, and fashion became my way of making a meaningful impact—not only proving to myself that I could take action on something I loved but also inspiring others to do the same.
Your brand promotes sustainable and ethical fashion. What challenges did you face in advocating for slow fashion at such a young age?
One of the biggest challenges was educating people about why sustainability matters—especially in an industry built on trends and fast consumption. I had to learn how to communicate the importance of slow fashion in a way that resonated emotionally.
I found that speaking on stage and sharing my story—how I started in fashion and what I had learned about its environmental impact—was the most effective way to connect with people and shift their perspectives.
There were also practical challenges, like sourcing ethical materials and balancing my vision with the realities of running a business. But every hurdle taught me something valuable.
You’ve mentioned that you’ve lived on six continents and visited over 36 countries. How has this global perspective shaped your work and creativity?
Living in so many places has given me a deep appreciation for different perspectives and ways of thinking. It’s shaped my creativity in a way that goes beyond aesthetics—I see art, fashion, and business as tools to bridge cultures and spark important conversations. Through my experiences, I’ve learned that creativity has the power to connect people across borders, challenge perspectives, and create meaningful change.
As a young entrepreneur, what were some of the biggest lessons you’ve learned while building your brand?
I’ve learned that taking risks is essential, but so is staying true to your values and trusting yourself through the journey. Building a brand isn’t just about the product—it’s about the story, the mission, and the connections you create.
I’ve also learned to embrace failure as part of the process. Every mistake has been a lesson that helped me grow stronger and more aligned with my purpose.
How does Spiraling reflect your personal experiences with anxiety and self-discovery?
Spiraling was born from my personal experience of navigating anxiety and self-discovery. Each piece reflects the overwhelming moments when anxiety creeps in—the swirling thoughts, the moments of doubt, and the process of greeting these emotions rather than resisting them. My art serves as a way to transform these feelings into something beautiful, making peace with the thoughts that haunt us.
Through my art, I want to explore the balance between our internal and external worlds. It’s not about pushing through challenges with force but about acknowledging them, learning from them, and transforming them into something meaningful. My work is a reflection of that process.
The fluid forms in my work symbolize the spiraling thoughts that take over when anxiety sets in. They represent the delicate balance between internal chaos and an outward appearance of calm—the feeling of being quiet while your mind is anything but.
How do you balance your responsibilities as an artist, fashion designer, and motivational speaker?
It’s all about prioritizing and staying connected to what fuels me the most. I’ve learned to embrace seasons—sometimes I’m deep in my art, other times I’m focused on speaking and sharing my story. Balance, for me, means giving myself permission to lean into my passions without feeling like I have to do it all at once.
You’ve worked with a team in Bali at your studio. What does your creative process look like when collaborating with others from diverse backgrounds?
Collaboration has always been about mutual respect and a shared vision. I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredibly talented people from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique skills and perspectives to the creative process.
I’ve learned that the best work comes from a space of openness and collective creativity. Every collaboration has taught me something new and helped shape my journey as an artist and entrepreneur.
You’ve made significant impacts through your initiatives, like donating thousands of school uniforms to children in need. Can you share more about these efforts and what they mean to you?
Giving back has always been a core part of my mission. For every piece sold through HS Styles, we donated a school uniform to children in India.
Education is such a powerful tool for change, and being able to contribute to that in a small way means everything to me. It’s about creating a ripple effect of empowerment and opportunity.
What message do you hope readers will take away from Women Gone Wild: The Leadership Edition?
I hope readers walk away knowing that leadership isn’t about perfection or a specific title—it’s about authenticity, courage, and action. True leadership starts from within, by embracing who you are, showing up exactly as you are, and being willing to grow along the way.
I want people to feel empowered to step into their own leadership, no matter where they are in life, and to understand that their voice and story matter. Most importantly, I want them to realize they don’t have to wait for the ‘perfect’ moment to pursue their dreams—the right time is always now.
Looking ahead, what are your future goals for your creative projects and community involvement?
I want to continue pushing boundaries with my art and using it as a platform to spark conversations about resilience, empowerment, and sustainability.
I’m passionate about exploring new ways to give back to communities and using my creativity to inspire meaningful change. Ultimately, my goal is to keep creating work that encourages others to dream big, take action, and make a difference.
