Her journey took her from boardrooms to community circles, where she fought for inclusion and equity. At AT&T, she co-founded the Inclusion Council, proving that real leadership is not about titles but about making space where every voice is valued.
It was during this journey that she discovered the power of storytelling. Stories, she realized, could heal, connect, and transform. With this insight, she created Women of Color: An Intimate Conversation first as a panel to provide LGBTQ+ Women of Color and allies a platform to use their voices, then as a podcast that quickly grew into a global movement. Week after week, Garrett opened the door for women to share their truths stories of strength, setbacks, and triumph.
