On 6 July, the hotel is set to unveil The Spa at The Landmark London, a significant investment in wellness that reflects the changing expectations of modern travellers. While the hotel has long offered health and fitness facilities, the new spa represents a major transformation of its wellness offering, positioning wellbeing alongside accommodation, dining and service as a core part of the guest experience.

Introducing The Spa at The Landmark London

Opening this summer, The Spa at The Landmark London will occupy 710 square metres of thoughtfully designed wellness space. Created by award-winning architecture studio Alex Kravetz Design, the spa has been envisioned as a tranquil retreat removed from the energy of central London.

Natural materials, soft lighting and calming organic tones have been chosen to create an environment that encourages relaxation from the moment guests arrive.

At the heart of the new facility will be a thermal suite designed around recovery and rejuvenation. Plans include a 34°C vitality pool with hydrotherapy jets, an aromatic steam room, Finnish sauna, ice fountain, heated marble loungers and multi-sensory experience showers.

Guests will also have access to dedicated relaxation areas, curated day packages and a retail gallery featuring premium wellness products. Four treatment rooms and a double treatment suite will provide space for both individual and shared spa experiences.

A Thoughtful Approach to Wellbeing

What distinguishes the new spa is its intention to offer more than traditional beauty treatments. The wellness philosophy combines advanced skincare, holistic therapies and restorative experiences designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing.

The spa will introduce partnerships with respected wellness brands including QMS Medicosmetics, Ashmira Botanica and OSKIA.

Future guests will be able to experience advanced facials, collagen-focused skincare treatments, sound therapy rituals and holistic wellness journeys inspired by both modern science and traditional healing practices.

The offering has also been designed with inclusivity in mind. Family and junior treatments will allow younger guests to participate in age-appropriate wellness experiences, a feature still relatively uncommon within luxury hotel spas.

Alongside these experiences, a 24-hour fitness centre equipped with premium Matrix Fitness equipment will continue to support guests seeking a more active approach to wellbeing.

The Leadership Behind the Vision

A project of this scale requires experienced leadership, and Spa & Health Club Manager Hida Shuleta has played a key role in bringing the transformation to life.

Having joined The Landmark London in 2017, Hida brings more than 18 years of experience in the wellness and beauty industry. Beginning her career as a therapist, she has built a reputation for combining operational excellence with a strong focus on guest experience and team development.

Before arriving at The Landmark London, she served as Head of Spa Operations at K West Hotel & Spa, where she helped the property achieve a respected five-bubble Good Spa Guide rating.

Throughout the spa’s multi-million-pound redevelopment, Hida has overseen the repositioning of the wellness offering while ensuring guests continued to benefit from existing health club facilities and services. Her leadership extends across every aspect of the operation, from team training and guest services to memberships, retail and commercial performance.

Her goal remains simple: to create an environment where exceptional service and meaningful wellness experiences go hand in hand.
