“Writing naked” is about more than words. It’s about removing the layers that hold women back and finding the courage to tell their truth.
As women, we are often told we are too much. Too loud. Too emotional. Too bossy.
Is it any wonder that we learn to edit ourselves before we speak let alone before we write and publish our words?
But what if we could find our confidence before we ever opened our mouths? What if confidence was built through the courage of saying what we truly want to say? What if our voice became stronger every time we dared to use it?
In my experience working with female authors, writing honestly – raw, bold, and without filters is one of the most empowering things a woman can do.
When I (gently) ask women to remove their clothes before they write, I am not asking them to perform or shock. I invite them to reconnect with their bodies, their energy centers, and to experience their skin as a portal to their soul.
The nakedness isn’t about the body.
It’s about removing layers.
Layers of doubt.
Layers of perfectionism.
Layers of expectations.
People-pleasing.
Years – sometimes decades! – of silence.

I’ve watched women arrive unsure of whether their story mattered, and leave knowing that their voice deserves to be heard.
Every woman who came to me already an author carried an unmistakable confidence in her words. And every first-time author who trusted the process transformed before my eyes as she gave herself more permission to own her voice, her story, and ultimately herself.
Every voice brings power.
Liberation.
Permission.
Writing our stories is about far more than self-expression. It is more than entertainment, and even more than achieving the title of “author.”
Writing a book is creating impact.
And creating impact is leadership.
Every woman who shares an honest story creates space for another woman to do the same.
As women, we carry many identities: daughter, partner, sister, friend, perhaps mother. We are creators by nature. I believe that creative power reflects something deeply sacred within us. To create a book is, in many ways, a divine mission one that spreads courage, truth, healing, and possibility far beyond ourselves.
For me, that mission should be done naked.
Writing naked means writing with honesty.
Writing without hiding.

Becoming the essence of who you are and writing from the deepest place within your heart and soul.
Writing naked doesn’t mean exposing every detail of your life. It means removing the armour you’ve spent years wearing the need to be perfect, agreeable, impressive, or endlessly polished.
It means writing from truth.
Writing a book is different from writing only for yourself. You are writing to impact. To guide. To inspire. To lead. To remind someone they are not alone.
That takes courage.
And courage is contagious.
Your courage gives someone else permission to be courageous too. One honest story can make the world a little more connected, a little more compassionate, and a little more healed.
Publishing is an act of courage.
It is a declaration that says:
My voice matters.
My story is worth knowing.
It is the moment you stop hiding, embrace your humanity warts and all and become undeniable.
My message to every woman reading this is simple:
Own your voice.
Own your story.
Own your power.
Write the story only you can tell.
And write it with the beautiful boldness of your truth.
Because your truth will lead your tribe.
