CTC Athens Blends Greek Heart, French Skill, And Garden Charm To Create a Dining Experience That Surprises And Inspires.

CTC Athens is not just a restaurant it’s an experience where each plate is a moment, carefully designed to connect with your senses. Having completed 10 years this May, CTC continues to stand out for its thoughtful flavours, creative vision, and quiet elegance.

Every night at CTC feels like a chapter in a story written by Chef Alexandros Tsiotinis, a storyteller in the kitchen who mixes memory with imagination and tradition with boldness.

CTC Urban Gastronomy

Summer Garden, Quiet Magic

In the warmer months, CTC’s outdoor garden becomes the heart of the experience. The space is calm and green, with soft lighting, elegant tables, and a feeling of intimacy that’s hard to find in the city.

It’s a place where the air feels lighter, conversations last longer, and time seems to slow down.

With seating for 60 guests, the garden feels open yet private. Inside, the dining room has space for 40, designed in a style that’s minimal, modern, and welcoming.

The Chef – Rooted in Greece, Shaped by the World

Chef Alexandros Tsiotinis grew up in Athens but trained in Paris, where he studied at Ferrandi and worked with culinary legends like Alain Passard, Hélène Darroze, and Pascal Barbot. These experiences shaped his deep respect for technique and detail.

But CTC is where his own vision lives. He opened it in 2015 to create something personal a kitchen of ideas, where Greek ingredients meet global thinking.

His dishes are not just made; they are crafted with emotion and purpose. Whether a dish is delicate or bold, it always carries the same goal: to make people feel something.

The Blind Tasting Menu – No Choices, Just Trust

At CTC, there’s no menu on the table. Guests are invited into an 11-course blind tasting journey, where each dish is a surprise. This isn’t about making choices, it’s about letting go and discovering.

You don’t know what’s coming, but somehow every bite feels exactly right.

The menu is driven by fresh, seasonal, local ingredients, many of which come from small producers across Greece. The flavours are deeply rooted in Greek identity but delivered with French technique and modern creativity. It’s a careful balan,ce one that changes with the seasons and the chef’s evolving inspiration.

Wines That Speak the Same Language

Sommelier Kanellos Triantafillopoulos leads the wine program, curating pairings that elevate each course. Whether it’s a clean white or a bold red, every glass is chosen to match the emotion of the plate.

There’s also a compact cocktail list, perfect for a pre-dinner sip or a light finish. Each drink is designed to blend beautifully into the rhythm of the night never loud, always elegant.

Still Fresh, Still Fearless – A Decade In

Now 10 years in, CTC remains true to the values that made it special from day one: creativity, honesty, and quiet confidence. It’s not a restaurant that tries to impress. It’s one that listens, reflects, and gently surprises.

CTC doesn’t repeat itself. It reinvents softly, season by season, idea by idea.

That’s why, even after all these years, it still feels new. Still relevant. Still quietly ahead of its time.

In a city known for history, CTC is part of a more modern story one about the future of Greek cuisine, told through vision, precision, and heart.
