Cecilia, can you tell us more about your journey from Bolivia to the USA and how it has influenced your career path?
My journey from Bolivia to the USA has been an incredible ride, both personally and professionally. Back in Bolivia, I was dipping my toes into the modeling world while balancing college and life and I even did some TV commercials with a wireless carrier and a beer company. But moving to the USA was a game-changer. It opened a whole new world of opportunities for me. Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing.
I had to navigate through the challenges of adapting to a new language and culture. But those experiences? They’ve shaped me in ways I never imagined. They’ve given me this unique perspective and a deep sense of empathy that I bring to everything I do. Whether I’m behind the camera, capturing moments as a photographer, or even modeling, my background plays a big role.
How did your multilingual background and diverse cultural experiences influence your career path?
My multilingual background and diverse cultural experiences have greatly influenced my career path. Learning English was tough, but speaking three languages has been a huge advantage, opening up many work opportunities for me.
What challenges did you face when starting from scratch in the USA and how did you overcome them?
Definitely, the biggest challenge was learning a new language and being far from my family, missing important dates.
Could you elaborate on your transition from various jobs like waitress and hostess to pursuing your passion for photography and content creation?
My journey from waitress and hostess to photography and content creation has been a journey of growth. Each job taught me valuable lessons, emphasizing the importance of hard work in the USA. Transitioning from graphic design to a Facebook streaming platform radio expanded my skills. This journey led me to join a streaming magazine show in South Beach called From Miami TV, directed by the actor Salim Rubiales.
During this period, I was also engaged as a host model at expos, participating in model photoshoots across Miami. However, when Covid struck, I realized the importance of prioritizing my presence on social media platforms and with a camera gifted by my husband, I took the plunge and launched my own YouTube channel. Gradually, I immersed myself deeper into the realms of photography and content creation, transforming them into my ultimate passion and job.

I was inspired to venture into live Facebook streaming shows, local commercials, and print modeling by my previous experiences in my home country as a model and the opportunity to engage with diverse audiences through digital platforms.
How has your passion for photography and content creation evolved over time, and what drives your creativity?
My journey into photography began with a gift from my husband – my very first camera. He, being a passionate hobbyist photographer himself, gently guided me into the world of capturing moments. I found myself particularly drawn to macro and landscape photography, fascinated by the intricate details and expansive vistas they offered.
What truly ignites my creativity is the opportunity to translate what I see with my eyes into images that evoke emotion and tell stories, allowing me to express myself freely through my art.

My furry companion and supportive partner play pivotal roles in my professional journey. Their unwavering encouragement and presence remind me to balance work and life, find resilience, and treasure each moment along the way.
What advice do you have for aspiring content creators and photographers, especially those starting from diverse backgrounds?
Stay persistent. Don’t give up on your dreams and keep pushing forward.
How do you balance your personal and professional life while pursuing your dreams?
I maintain balance by effectively managing my time and establishing clear boundaries between work and personal life. Utilizing a calendar helps me stay organized and I always take a day of projects and social media. Additionally, prioritizing communication with loved ones and practicing self-care are essential for staying grounded while pursuing my dreams.
What are some memorable moments or achievements in your career that you are particularly proud of?
I’m proud of my small appearance in a national Navarros pharmacy commercial last year and collaborating with favorite brands like YSL, Batiste, Strivectin, and Dossier Perfumes on social media
