Breaking Boundaries and Empowering Leadership Through Bold Stories

In 2008, Rhonda created Women Gone Wild to empower women to embrace their unique power and redefine leadership. Her journey taught her that true leadership comes from aligning with your values and trusting your instincts. Today, she inspires women to lead unapologetically and on their own terms.

Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your journey leading up to the creation of Women Gone Wild: The Leadership Edition?

My journey has been anything but conventional. I started out in the corporate world, climbing the ranks in Fortune 100 companies, managing multi-million dollar campaigns. But everything shifted when I realized I didn’t want to build my life around someone else’s rules—I wanted freedom, purpose, and most importantly, to be fully present as a mother.

In 2008, my husband and I sold everything and set off to travel the world, building a life and business that aligned with our values. That journey—filled with challenges, resilience, and reinvention—taught me the true essence of leadership: stepping into your power, trusting your instincts, and creating impact in a way that aligns with your values.

It was through this evolution that I created Women Gone Wild, a movement designed to help women embrace their unique power and rewrite the narrative of leadership and success, on their own terms.

What inspired you to become involved with the Women Gone Wild movement?

Women Gone Wild was born out of my desire to give women the space to own their stories, trust their intuition, and break free from the expectations that have kept them small for far too long.

I saw so many women sitting on brilliance but afraid to step into their power because of fear, doubt, or societal conditioning.

I knew we needed a movement that celebrates women who lead unapologetically, whether that’s in business, in their communities, or in their own personal evolution.

This is about showing what women are truly capable of, supporting one another to rise into their full potential, and inspiring generations to lead with confidence and purpose.

In your opinion, what makes the Women Gone Wild series stand out from other leadership and empowerment books?

Women Gone Wild isn’t just another leadership book—it’s a call to action. What sets it apart is the raw, real, and unapologetic storytelling from women who have dared to challenge the status quo.

We’re not sugarcoating success; we’re sharing the messy, beautiful, and powerful realities of what it takes to lead authentically.

The series creates a roadmap for women to not only build wealth and influence but to do it in a way that honors their truth, intuition, and individual journeys.

Every story within the book reflects the unwavering strength of women who have faced challenges head-on and emerged victorious, inspiring others to do the same.

Can you share more about the core principles of WILD (Wealth, Intuition, Leadership, Diversity) and how they are woven into this latest edition?

The WILD framework is the heartbeat of the Women Gone Wild movement and serves as a blueprint for personal and professional transformation:

Wealth- It’s about more than money—it’s about owning your value and creating a life of abundance, fulfillment, and meaningful impact. True wealth is having the freedom to live life on your terms.

Intuition- Trusting yourself is the most powerful leadership tool you have. This book teaches women how to listen to their inner voice and make aligned decisions with confidence.

Leadership- We redefine leadership as stepping into your unique strengths and leading with authenticity, courage, and purpose, rather than conforming to societal expectations.

Diversity- Power lies in embracing the richness of varied perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds, creating spaces where every voice is valued and celebrated.

In The Leadership Edition, we delve deeper into how these principles can be integrated into leadership strategies, helping women navigate their personal and professional paths with clarity and conviction.

What do you believe is the most significant challenge women face in leadership roles today, and how does your book address this?

One of the biggest challenges women face is self-doubt and the pressure to conform to outdated leadership models that don’t align with their natural strengths.

Society has conditioned us to believe that leadership has to look a certain way—hard, relentless, and often masculine.

This book dismantles those myths and shows women how to lead their way, with authenticity, emotional intelligence, and confidence.

Your book focuses on leadership. How do you define authentic leadership for women in today’s world?

Authentic leadership is about owning your truth and leading with integrity, vulnerability, and courage.

It’s not about fitting into a mold; it’s about creating a path that aligns with your values and purpose. Leadership isn’t about power over others—it’s about inspiring and empowering others to reach their full potential.

What message do you hope readers will take away from Women Gone Wild: The Leadership Edition?

I hope every woman who reads this book walks away with a renewed sense of confidence, clarity, and the courage to step into the leadership role they were born for—whether that’s in their business, their family, or their community. You already have everything you need inside of you to lead powerfully.

Can you discuss how collaboration with transformational expert Jules Schroeder has influenced the development of this book series?

Jules brings an incredible depth of experience and wisdom to this series. Her expertise in transformational leadership and her ability to tap into the deeper layers of self-expression and purpose have added a unique dimension to Women Gone Wild.

Our collaboration has allowed us to blend tactical business strategies with deep, soul-level leadership principles.

How does Women Gone Wild: The Leadership Edition differ from earlier editions in the series?

Building on the foundations of wealth and intuition explored in previous editions, The Leadership Edition goes even further—empowering women to step into positions of influence and lead with confidence.

This edition features powerful stories of women from diverse industries who have transformed their challenges into strengths and leveraged their voices to create meaningful impact.

Through actionable tools and real-life insights, it shows women that they, too, have the power to lead boldly and make a lasting difference in their own unique way.

You’ve emphasized the importance of community in the Women Gone Wild movement. How do you see this community supporting women’s growth as leaders?

The Women Gone Wild community thrives on connection, collaboration, and the shared mission of uplifting women.

We foster a culture where vulnerability is celebrated, and women feel safe to show up fully as they are.

Leadership is not a solo journey, and our community is a powerful reminder that we are stronger together when we support and elevate one another.

What advice would you give to women aspiring to step into leadership roles but facing self-doubt or obstacles?

Stop waiting for permission and start showing up. Leadership begins with believing in your worth and taking bold, imperfect action.

Fear and self-doubt are natural, but they don’t have to define you. Surround yourself with mentors, trust your intuition, and see every obstacle as an opportunity to rise and shine even brighter. Your story matters and you have the power to make a difference.

Your journey includes creating multiple 7-figure businesses. Could you share some insights on how women can build successful and impactful brands?

Success starts with clarity, consistency, and visibility. Build a brand that aligns with your values, master your messaging, and leverage PR to create authority. Most importantly, stay true to your unique voice and never be afraid to take up space.

What are your thoughts on the role of vulnerability in leadership, and how does this theme play out in your book?

Vulnerability is the secret weapon of great leaders. It allows us to connect deeply, inspire trust, and create spaces where people feel seen and heard. This book showcases leaders who have embraced vulnerability as a strength, not a weakness.
