At the heart of the collection is La Sibilla, available in three sizes and inspired by the landscape and stories of Campania. The brand’s other lines Capri, Ischia, Procida and Minori take inspiration from the Mediterranean islands and places they are named after.

Crafted In Italy, Made With Purpose
ANEMA was founded in 2021 by Francesco Esposito, a designer and craftsman with experience in manufacturing methods.
Each bag is handcrafted in Italy, with the brand’s production rooted in the Neapolitan tradition of craftsmanship.
ANEMA is part of MF Group, a Neapolitan company founded by the family in 1992, and later carried forward by brothers Francesco and Mirko. The group focuses on leather goods and small leather goods manufacturing, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern production methods.
This connection to manufacturing gives ANEMA a strong foundation in the Made-in-Italy tradition while allowing the brand to explore newer materials and contemporary designs.
Inspired By Campania
There is a clear sense of place behind ANEMA.
The brand draws from Campania and the Mediterranean, bringing local landscapes, islands and stories into its collections.
La Sibilla takes its inspiration from Campania, while Capri, Ischia, Procida and Minori carry the names and atmosphere of some of the region’s best-known destinations.
This gives the collections more than a name. The places become part of the identity behind the designs.

We had the chance to see the ANEMA bags up close, and the first thing we noticed was the shape. The structured design and unusual handle give them a distinctive look without needing a lot of extra detail.
The grey patterned bag has a more statement feel, while the black version is easier to imagine wearing regularly. Both have enough space and structure to work with different outfits, whether you’re dressing for the day or heading somewhere in the evening.
We also liked the finish of the bags. They feel well made, and the details, from the metal handle to the chain strap, give them a polished look.
Overall, they’re the kind of bags that can add something to an outfit without requiring too much thought. The black works for everyday looks, while the grey version is a little more eye-catching when you want your accessories to do more.
