Finding shoes that look good and feel comfortable isn’t always easy. Calla’s latest arrivals caught our attention for bringing together elegant heels, polished courts and exceptionally soft suede loafers, showing how comfortable footwear can still look stylish.
The new collection includes the first drops from AW26, with pointed courts, kitten heels and soft suede loafers designed for different occasions, from work and everyday dressing to evening plans.

The New Arrivals
Calla’s latest New In collection brings together pointed courts, kitten heels and soft suede loafers, with styles that can move easily from daytime dressing to evening plans.
The Paloma kitten heels are one of the standout styles, available in burgundy leather and black patent leather. The lower heel gives them a graceful feel while keeping the look polished and easy to wear.
For something more classic, the Courtney courts come in black and burgundy leather. Their pointed shape works just as well with tailored trousers as it does with a dress for dinner.
The Ava coffee leather courts bring a softer colour to the collection, while the Lorette patent leather courts in black and cherry offer a little more shine and personality.
Then there are the Freya suede loafers, made from exceptionally soft suede that feels almost like slippers while still looking polished and stylish. They’re an easy choice for days when you want to step away from heels without losing that smart finish.
Together, the new arrivals offer plenty of choice, from elegant heels and classic courts to softer everyday loafers. There are classic options in black, richer shades such as burgundy and cherry, as well as softer suede styles for more relaxed days.

More Than Just New Arrivals
While the latest collection catches the eye first, Calla’s wider range shows that comfort is part of the brand as a whole.
Its collections include heels, flats, trainers, boots and sandals, with styles ranging from courts and kitten heels to loafers, ballerinas and brogues.
The idea stays the same across each collection: footwear that looks stylish, feels comfortable and fits naturally into different parts of your wardrobe.
What Makes Calla Different?
Calla’s comfort starts with the design.
Every pair is carefully created with features including a wide toe box and special bunion-stretch lining, designed to accommodate bunions and wider feet. There is also built-in arch support and a cushioned insole for extra comfort.
These features are particularly useful for women who struggle with bunions or wider feet, but the idea isn’t limited to them. Calla also offers an option for anyone who simply wants footwear that feels more comfortable throughout the day.
The comfort features are built into the design without changing the overall look of the shoes. The pointed courts still feel elegant, the kitten heels remain feminine, and the loafers have a polished finish.
The shoes are also handmade in Portugal using luxurious materials, adding to the considered feel of the brand.

Style That Works Beyond One Outfit
Another reason Calla feels easy to wear is its versatility.
A court can become part of a work wardrobe and then move into the evening with a dress. A kitten heel can add polish without feeling too formal, while a loafer can work with trousers, denim or a dress when you want something smart but comfortable.
The range gives you plenty of choice, depending on your style and the occasion.

The Story Behind Calla
Calla began with founder Jennifer Bailey’s own experience of living with bunions. After struggling to find shoes that were both stylish and comfortable, she set out to create footwear that would allow women to feel good and look good without the pain.
That idea became the foundation of Calla. Every pair is carefully designed with comfort in mind, including features such as a wide toe box, bunion-stretch lining, built-in arch support and a cushioned insole.
The shoes are handmade in Portugal using luxurious materials and are designed to combine elegance with all-day comfort. Over the years, Calla has also helped women with foot issues, as well as those simply looking for comfortable footwear, find styles they enjoy wearing.
The latest collection continues that approach, bringing together elegant shapes and comfort-focused details across its new heels, courts and loafers.

We had the opportunity to try the Paloma – Black Patent Leather Kitten Heels, and the glossy black patent finish immediately caught our eye. It gives the shoes a polished look, while the pointed shape keeps them elegant and feminine.
We also liked the slim straps and small gold buckles, which add some detail without making the design feel too busy. The kitten heel gives a little height, but still feels comfortable enough to wear for longer.

They’re also easy to style. The Paloma works particularly well with dresses, but could just as easily be worn with tailored trousers or a simple evening look. They have that dressed-up feel without being too formal.
Our verdict: A polished and feminine pair with a flattering shape, subtle detailing and a comfortable kitten heel.
Best for: Dresses, workwear, dinners, events and anyone looking for an elegant pair of heels that’s comfortable to wear.
